A small annual, found as a naturalised weed of bulb-fields in the Isles of Scilly, and as a rare grain, bird-seed and wild-flower mixture alien elsewhere. Lowland.
R. marginatus has been known in the wild in Britain since 1950. It has recently been recorded as a constituent of wild-flower seed-mixtures.
Native of the E. Mediterranean region and S.W. Asia.
