Caloplaca decipiens. A lichen similar to Caloplaca flavescens, but instead of having apothecia, it has soralia and is sorediate. It is especially associated with artificial calcareous habitats, and has a tendency to occur in the east. This photograph was taken on a wall close to Thaxted Church in Essex.
