Cladonia foliacea. A relatively frequent species of short, often calcareous grassland, and often fairly close to the sea. It is usually fairly upright with a yellowish tinge, and the lobes are well incised. This photograph taken on the dunes in Jersey formerly called Les Quennevais, and now Les Blanches Banques.
