Year I started recording:

Started as a birder, and then got into moths. Did a lot of plants a while ago, but just love insects of all sorts nowadays. I enjoy keying things out, and this is a great excuse to remain a generalist and not to specialise! Based in Yorkshire.
My bogey species:
Anything microscopic or fungal (or mossy pretty much), or marine.
My most wanted:
There's an ichneumon that parasitizes caddisflies - underwater! A Bee Hawkmoth. Wryneck. A Phalarope, any would do!
Scarce Vapourer, Mire Pill Beetle, some exceptionally obscure winter gnats.
Moss: Pleuridium acuminatum. Beetles: Tachyporus pallidus, Longitarsus melanocephalus, Bembidion tibiale, Nebria rufescens and Thinodromus arcuatus.
