Peripsocus milleri Moderately small (c. 2.5-3mm) brown barkfly. Both males and females occur in Britain. Not yet recorded from Scotland.
No areola postica.  Forewing with rather ill-defined pale brown markings as shown in photograph.

Subgenital plate (underside of abdomen) has characteristic shape. It also differs from P. subfasciatus by not having dark sides to the apical lobe.
