Loensia fasciata A moderately large (4.5-5.5mm) barkfly with strongly marked wings. Widespread in Britain.
Loensia fasciata Forewings with dark bands and small spots on a colourless background. The main bands form a crude ‘IU’ shape.

Subgenital plate (underside of apex of abdomen) has two large oval side lobes.
