Hoverfly records

I know the question of the time taken to review hoverfly records has been raised previously but I have a query that I am not sure has been addressed in the responses.

I recently posted a record (no photo) of a marmalade hoverfly E balteatus that was observed during the February heatwave and was notified that the record had been reviewed and confirmed as 'probably correct' .  All well and good but I was concerned by the fact that this recent record had been picked up and reviewed but a record of a drone fly Eristalis tenax from January this year and a number of hoverfly records from throughout 2018 remain unreviewed.  Does this mean that the earlier records have been overlooked or did the recent one just 'get lucky' and get reviewed promptly without any implication for when/whether the older records will get reviewed?
