When using a desktop computer (Windows 10, Chrome browser) I have a tab permanently open for iRecord. If I log out, or sleep, the computer, on restart iRecord still recognises me as logged in, to the extent that it will retrieve My Records correctly. However, if I try to add a new record I have problems - taxon verifications just do not happen. I now routinely logout and back in again to get things working.
I presume that what is hapening is that whn logged in a have an active session that is visible to all back end components. On disconnection the internal links get dropped, but the session is avaible for re-connection. Can I suggest a trigger along the lines used for entering a record, to be used when shutting down a browser, asking for confirmation and then fully logging out the user. Alternatively, try and relink a resumed session to all back end components.
This now appears to be fixed. I remain logged in across machine restarts.
