Ramalina farinacea

Just a few Ramalinas before I dealve into Physciaceae. This is one of the commonest, and can be told by the powdery soralia, and the lack of discs from most other common species. It is frequent on trees both on the main trunk and on twigs. It will also grow on rock if it is not acid. This photograph was taken at Exeat in east Sussex.
