Summary: strongly associated with tree trunks.

Associations:

  • Tree trunks: beech, elm, lime, oak and pine.
  • Deciduous branches: oak.
  • Other trees (unspecified whether on branches or trunks):
    • Deciduous trees: birch, blackthorn, hawthorn, horse chestnut and sycamore.
    • Conifer/evergreen: larch.
  • Other microhabitats: on fences.

Sampling techniques: brushing tree trunks and hand searching.
